“Mobile Responsive” – what exactly does that mean? Luckily for you, it’s a very easy one.
Your website needs to work well on all screen sizes, including mobile. What do I mean by “work well”? Again it’s easy – it’s not good enough for your website just to shrink down and be small in size, it must still be easy to read and interact with on a mobile device.
If it’s not, you could be losing customers!
Think about you’re own browsing habits – have you ever visited a website on your phone, but the text is really small and you can’t read it? Or perhaps you have to resize elements with your fingers to try and make sense of what’s going on. Maybe some elements are overlapping, or the buttons are so small you can’t click them….what do you do when that happens?
That’s right – you leave! Most likely never to return.
Make sure your website doesn’t fall victim to this. Have a look at your site on mobile and test it’s still readable and easy to use. If you’re unsure, ask a business colleague to do the same for you.
